The Foundation works with students year-round who are looking to gain experience in accounting, finance, program services (wish granting), marketing, special events, volunteer management and communications. Part-Time Temporary Wish Coordinator, Seattle Office
The Make-A-Wish Foundation, an organization that grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions, is currently searching for a Part-Time Temporary Wish Coordinator in our Seattle office.
This temporary position will be six months in duration starting late September 2010 through the end of March 2011. Employee is responsible for coordination and oversight of program functions related to the delivery of a quality wish experience thoughout Western Washington. Coordination includes managing the wish process, administering program-related activites, managing interns and volunteers, cultivation of community partnerships, and upholding the policies and procedures established by the national and regional offices of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The successfull candidate will work well in a collaborative environment, and have strong time management, organizational and communcation skills. Job requirements include excellent customer service orientation, a professional demeanor, and 3 or more years of related work experience.
